| Ohio Nursing Law: Board of Nursing Disciplinary Action What Does it Mean & How Does it Happen? Presented by: Janice Lanier, RN, JD Health Policy Director Ohio Nurses Association November 1st 7:00pm - 9:00pm Mid-Ohio Conference Center 4th Street Mansfield, Ohio A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Harmony House, a local homeless shelter. This event is approved for one OBN Law contact hour of continuing nursing education. The Ohio Nurses Foundation (OBN-001-91) is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. |

| Texas here we come!! Three students and one Faculty Advisor will be heading down south to the great state of Texas for the NSNA Annual Convention! We will be turning in our high heels and sneakers for a pair of cowboy boots in the historical city of Grapevine. But don't think we will be riding and roping during the day and line dancing the nights away, we have business to take care of. What business you say? Well, we will be presenting a resolution to the entire NSNA membership. We will be asking the membership to support the bill Eating Disorder Awareness, Prevention, and Education Act of 2007. And not to mention all the great sessions available to boost our nursing knowledge! Be sure to check back here in early April to see all the good ol' fun we had! |
